Set in the hills of Alto Monferrato, within Nordelaia, LORTO begins with a simple idea: start from the land.
Here, cuisine is an ongoing process, in constant dialogue with the garden, the seasons, and the territory, where every ingredient is carefully selected and thoughtfully enhanced.
Led by Executive Chef Charles Pearce, with the consultancy of Andrea Ribaldone, LORTO brings together Italian roots and an international perspective, balancing technique and instinct.
The vegetables from the garden set the rhythm of a living, evolving cuisine, supported by local producers and a short supply chain deeply connected to Piedmont.
LORTO is also a way of experiencing the table: more open, fluid, and spontaneous. A place where the experience unfolds without rigidity, guided by time, people, and the pleasure of sharing.
THE SPACES
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of Nordelaia’s three-level building dedicated to dining, while the upper and lower floors will host private events and pop-ups. Here, guests can enjoy the experience from breakfast through dinner — including lunch and aperitivo — both in the restaurant and at the bar, in an atmosphere that is relaxed yet lively, at once intimate and dynamic.
With a rhythm reminiscent of London restaurants, yet immersed in the Piedmont countryside, the setting is warm, convivial, and full of energy. Not a formal dining room, but a vibrant space that encourages togetherness, featuring an informal yet attentive and international service, led by the same trusted team with a renewed vision.

MENU & WINES
At LORTO, the menu follows the seasons, without being tied to them. It starts with our garden and local Piedmont producers, then moves with a more international rhythm — built around sharing, bold flavours and unexpected combinations.Vegetables remain at the centre, supported by a menu that moves from LORTO signature snacks and small plates through to seasonal vegetable dishes, dry-aged fish and prime meats.
The kitchen reflects chef Charles Pearce’s background — Italian ingredients, international technique, and the easy, confident energy of London’s dining scene, where different ideas come together naturally.
The wine list follows the same approach. NORDI wines — Brut, Gavi, Timorasso and Dolcetto — sit at the heart, joined by our new Pinot Noir. Alongside, a wider selection keeps things flexible and easy to pair.
EVENTS
